Ron Dechart - Volunteer 2000

Ron was instrumental in saving the big booster club from extinction in 1995.  Many of the programs of today were implement during Ron's tenure as booster club president.  Known for his calm personality and genuine concern for athletics, he was well liked during his two years in the booster club.

Ron had two daughters who participated in athletics.  He never missed a meet or game and was 100% supportive of the coaching staff.  He was always willing to lend a hand whether moving equipment or getting the softball diamond ready for play.  Ron and is wife, Alice, are still active in the Ann Arbor area.
