Hall of Fame Bio.

Mark Carrow - Athletic Alumni 2006

Mark is a 1967 graduate of Ann Arbor High and later earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters from Eastern Michigan.

 

As a Pioneer, Mark earned nine varsity letters: football, hockey and baseball.  He was named captain of the baseball team, assistant captain of the undefeated 1966-67 hockey squad and was named to the All-State football team his senior season.  At U of M, where he was on a baseball scholarship, Carrow was a three-year starter at third base and pitcher and was elected team captain his senior season.  That same year, 1971, he received the Yost Award for academic and athletic excellence.

 

Mark retired from the Brighton School District in 2006 after teaching and coaching baseball for more than 30 years.
