Chuck Ritter - Legacy 2008

Chuck Ritter attended high school in Cassopolis, Michigan.  He receive is Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan.  He taught mathematics at Pioneer High School for 40 years.  During these four decades, Chuck also coached twenty-five years of football.  For thirteen of these years Chuck was Pioneer’s varsity head coach.  While Pioneer was in the 6A, 7A, and South Central Conference, the 1970, 1974, 1975 and 1978 teams were League Champions.  Check was inducted into the Michigan High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1983.  The following year he was inducted into the Michigan Highs School Coaches Hall of Fame.  Check was also employed as a Pioneer High Athletic Director form 1990 to 1995.  Not matter how you add it up he’s true blue Pioneer purple person.
